Which Jack is Best?

Jack VS Jack

This is the ultimate debate between Jason and I. The question as to "which Jack is best" was inspired by Dwight from the Office. I am partial to Jack from Lost, the highly esteemed surgeon who is the leader of the survivors of Oceanic flight 815. He has saved countless lives and always looks good while doing it. Jason has a man crush on Jack from 24. He is an agent who works for the Counter Terrorism Unit, and tends to be the man the president of the United States always goes to when the safety of the American people is at stake. In order to make this fair, Jason and I will both list the top 5 reasons we believe our Jack is best:

JACK SHEPHARD

1. Most Attractive 2. Can save anyone's life, anytime, anywhere 3. Does not have to kill in order to get the job done 4. If both Jacks were to meet in a dark alley, Jack Shephard would shoot Jack Bauer and then save his life 5. Once saved a man's life by making an IV out of a Sea Urchin's spine, then pumping his own blood into the dying man until he was revived....it doesn't get more manly than that

JACK BAUER

1. If Jack Bauer were on Lost, the show would not be called Lost...it would be called Found 2. He is the first person the president calls when the free world needs to be saved 3. He has single handedly saved millions and millions of lives, as opposed to a mere few hundred on an operating table (and it only takes him 24 hours) 4. Jack Bauer has died and come back to life (see season 4: episode 24) 5. He is so manly, even guys have a crush on him

The mystery that is Pride and Prejudice...........

So, Jason came home after a night of studying and caught me watching the 6 hour version of Pride and Prejudice. I absolutely love Pride and Prejudice. I have probably seen every version of the movie ever made, and have also read the book. Jason just can't understand why I like it so much. He hasn't seen the movie in its entirety, or read the book, but he has caught bits and pieces of the storyline here and there. I have tried many times to explain to him why Darcy is such a great character and why the story is so unique. But to no avail, it is still a complete mystery to him. He thinks that Pride and Prejudice is a good example of how girls can take something very simple, and make it way too complex.....! How do I explain why this is such a classic love story? If only I could convince him to watch the entire 6 hour movie......then he would understand.............................

Pathology Department Party

This is Jason and I at the annual Pathology Department party. Everything we ate there was in very small proportions, which is a little frustrating when you're hungry. So we ended up leaving and eating real food when we got home.

Our First Blog Posting!

Jason and I have decided to finally start a blog to let all of our friends and family know what's going on out here in the east. We have now lived in Ohio for about a year and a half, time has gone by so fast! Jason is about halfway through his second year of dental school, and is doing great. I am enjoying my job at the medical center, and have also been teaching aerobics classes on the side. We have gotten involved in a lot of little hobbies while we've lived here. Jason has played intramural basketball and football, we even joined a softball tournament last summer! I have joined a craft group, (I know, I know......who would've thought?) and I love every minute of it! Its been great getting to know our ward, there are a lot of couples in the same situation we are. I am terrible about scrapbooking, so I'm hoping this blog will help me keep a record of our adventures while out here in dental school! Below are some photos that we've taken over the past year......

Martina McBride Concert!

This is a good introduction to my friend Kelly, her and I work together at the medical center. We went to the Martina McBride concert on friday....we were doing some extreme singing along.
