I have wanted to see the movie "27 dresses" for a while now. So finally, after much persuasion, Jason and I decided to rent it this weekend. Here are a few excerpts from our conversation during the movie:
Jason: Why do they call it 27 dresses? Why not 37 or 30? That's a very random number.
Me: I'm not sure....I guess she probably wears 27 dresses throughout the movie...I don't know. Just watch the movie.
...10 minutes later....
Jason: I've only counted 2 dresses so far. Are you sure they're going to get up to 27? That's going to make for a long movie.
Me: Yea, I really don't know. Just sit back and enjoy the movie.
....30 minutes later....
Jason: According to the number of dresses she tried on with the writer, she owns 20....not 27.
Me: ............don't worry about it!
Jason: Ok, but if they're going to call it 27 dresses, there had better be a reason for it....
Me: JASON! You're missing the point of the movie, its a chick flick, there's really nothing complicated about it.
.....At the very end of the movie, there are 27 bridesmaids lined up all wearing dresses. He counted each....
Jason: Well there we go, that's all I needed to know. There are 27 dresses there.
Me: Never again.
I tell you what, there's never a dull moment with Jason around!
I should also note that within 10 minutes of the movie, he knew exactly how it would end. He outlined the rest of the movie for me, and was right about every bit of it......

That is so dang funny! You are lucky that he would watch it with you... I had to rent it when Jud went on a scout overnighter. I remember asking him to go see it in the theater with me and his reply was, "The price for admission is $8.00 and a pair of balls."
That is great. Jon does the same thing, and it drives me crazy. I always tell him to just watch the movie too, but he still tries to "figure it out"
Ha ha...oh man, I miss Jason's sassyness.
That is hilarious! Ricky always knows how movies are going to end...especially chick flicks. It drives me crazy! I always tell him to keep it to himself! Thankfully he usually does!
Hey, congrats on the baby girl! That is so exciting!
