And the Verdict Is..........

I tell you what, the blog poll never lies! You guys were right, IT'S A GIRL!!!! Jason and I also had a feeling it was a girl. Right before we went in to see the doctor, Jason asked me what I really thought we were having. I said I thought it was a girl, and he agreed........we couldn't be happier!

Jason at the mill in Kirtland, Ohio.

Maid of the Mist boat ride at Niagra Falls. It was a blast. I was trying desperately to not get soaked!

Cheese Tasting in Berlin! YUMMY! They even had chocolate flavored cheese. It was incredible....

My mother-in-law and I in a parking lot in Berlin, where there were horses and buggies rather than cars!

This is the historic Newel K. Whitney store, in Kirtland, Ohio.

We also visited the Isaac Morley farm, the John Johnson farm, the temple in Palmyra, New York and the Sacred Grove. It was such a testimony building experience to get to actually see the sacred grove, and walk around the Smith farm, knowing that such sacred things happened there. It was such a great trip, it was a blast getting to spend time with family and just sight seeing and spending as much time as we wanted at each place......we even found a Rita's along the way, which we didn't hesitate to stop at. Joanne became a Rita's addict while she was here, it was hilarious! It was so nice to get to spend time with family!

More "Jason-isms"....

I have wanted to see the movie "27 dresses" for a while now. So finally, after much persuasion, Jason and I decided to rent it this weekend. Here are a few excerpts from our conversation during the movie:

Jason: Why do they call it 27 dresses? Why not 37 or 30? That's a very random number.
Me: I'm not sure....I guess she probably wears 27 dresses throughout the movie...I don't know. Just watch the movie.

...10 minutes later....

Jason: I've only counted 2 dresses so far. Are you sure they're going to get up to 27? That's going to make for a long movie.
Me: Yea, I really don't know. Just sit back and enjoy the movie.

....30 minutes later....

Jason: According to the number of dresses she tried on with the writer, she owns 20....not 27.
Me: ............don't worry about it!
Jason: Ok, but if they're going to call it 27 dresses, there had better be a reason for it....
Me: JASON! You're missing the point of the movie, its a chick flick, there's really nothing complicated about it.

.....At the very end of the movie, there are 27 bridesmaids lined up all wearing dresses. He counted each....

Jason: Well there we go, that's all I needed to know. There are 27 dresses there.
Me: Never again.

I tell you what, there's never a dull moment with Jason around!

I should also note that within 10 minutes of the movie, he knew exactly how it would end. He outlined the rest of the movie for me, and was right about every bit of it......

Baby Bump..........5 Months!

Time is flying by! I can't believe its already been 5 months! I'm sure the last 4 months will go just as quickly, and before we know it, our little baby will be here!

My First Baby Blanket!

This is my first attempt at a baby blanket. I learned how to crochet around the edges at an Enrichment activity. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was to make! Don't ask why I chose to make a blue blanket.........I just thought it was really cute fabric!
