Riverdance

So, this posting is way overdo, but I realized going through my camera that I had not yet posted the pictures from the night Jason and I went and saw Riverdance. It was incredible, I loved it. I just think it is absolutely amazing that they can move their feet like that. So, I've posted a youtube video that will give you a small taste of what we got to experience that night.......

Grocery Man!

Jason is a really handy man to have around. He can carry all the groceries into the house, in one trip, guaranteed. Each time I go grocery shopping, I think to myself "there is no way Jason will be able to carry in all the groceries this time." Trust me you guys, one trip is all it takes.

Cinnamon Disappointments

The other night, I came home with some delicious snickerdoodle cookies a friend had given me. I gave one to Jason and after eating it he looked upset and said the cookies are not worthy of the name. He said, "If I'm going to eat a snickerdoodle cookie, I expect certain things. If it is going to be called a snickerdoodle, there darn well better be some chocolate, carmel and peanuts. These cookies need to be renamed. They should be called.....cinnamon disappointments." I always get a kick out of Jason, he definitely keeps me laughing.

Here are photos of the last couple of crafts I made during craft night. I absolutely love craft night. Its been so much fun getting to know so many incredible girls. Its always a blast getting together with everyone.....and you never know what's going to happen when you get 16 girls all in one tiny apartment.....for example, sometimes kitchen tables don't hold up like they're supposed to. You just never know.

My Dad the Paleontologist

Well, for those of you who are not already aware, my dad is a Paleontologist. He has been involved in some pretty exciting research recently. There is an article on the discovery channel website that outlines my dad's recent publication on flesh and bone eating insects that feed on dinosaur bones! Its quite fascinating actually. And although I used to complain incessently about having to spend our family trips out in the hot desert quarries of Utah digging up dinosaur bones, instead of a normal family vacation to Disneyland, I must say, I'm very proud of my geeky dad. You can find the article here: http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/05/08/dino-flesh-bug.html
