We just got back from a trip to Utah for Thanksgiving. Jason's parents were leaving on a mission November 30th, so we wanted to make sure we got to see them before they left. It was a short trip, but so worth it.

We get to ride horses on the farm when we go home, and Lynlee loved every minute of it.

Why do kids love cell phones??

My family came out to visit while we were staying at Jason's parent's home. It was so fun to see them, and so nice of Jason's family to let them crash for a few hours. Don't worry, there were only like 30 people at their house already.

Lynlee did not have time to be held while we were there. All she wanted was to be let down so that she could play with her cousins. She had no time for her boring parents.

We were so sad to say goodbye to his parents, but so excited for them to go on a mission. They will be great missionaries that will be a positive influence in the lives of all those they meet.

Lynlee turned 1 while we were there.....so we made a cupcake cake, and it only took us 3 hours to make it-we're just that good.

Lynlee just loved Grandma and Grandpa's house. So many fun things to do. So many fun cousins to play with. 17 to be exact.

Anybody catch the BYU vs UTAH game? GO COUGARS!

My man the cowboy.

Lynlee loved all the attention she got. It was kind of scary how natural it was for her to be the center of attention. She just sat back like this is how she should be treated everyday.

Oh you want another picture? Go ahead.

Happy Birthday banner.

The infamous cake.

A "Brooks Photo", as Jason pointed out.
