Flashback to the BIG DAY!

Yesterday was our 3 year anniversary. That's right, 3 years of marriage under my belt and I must say, it has been incredible.

Jason and I met in the cadaver lab, in Anatomy class at BYU.... Nothing like the smell of rotting flesh to flare up a little romance. We never actually went out that semester, Jason claims I didn't give him the time of day when he sat by my friend and I during lecture.

I don't remember that....but, I do remember being very interested after seeing him in the halls and asking him what he got on his anatomy final. He aced the final, and I was in love.

Actually, very few people know about the difficulties we had in making the decision to get married. We were scared, we kept going through all the difficulties that just "might" come up in our marriage.
We talk a lot about that time in our relationship, and how ridiculous our hold ups were. We just weren't sure we'd gotten the confirmation that we wanted that it was the right decision.

Each day of being married to Jason I am reassured that the decision I made that day, was the best decision I've ever made in my life.

Jason and I are like two peas in a pod- a little geeky on the inside, but cool on the outside.... (although, some may beg to differ on the latter....) Having our little daughter in the family has only made our lives that much sweeter.

In celebration of this day, we went out to Carrabas, where Jason proposed to me. He bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

I am so lucky to have such a hard working, unselfish, caring and hilariously funny husband to spend the rest of my life with.

I made this banner and thought it turned out super cute. I got the idea from Tonya.

First Waterpark!

Well, Jason took the day off and we went to Zoombezi bay for the first time. We had a blast letting Lynlee play in the wavepool and watching her float down the lazy river. Here's Lynlee just lounging around.....

Jason and I found the steepest waterslide there, and took turns going down it. Jason went first and said it was pretty weak, and didn't scare him at all, so I headed for the slide myself thinking nothing of it.

Let's just say, my experience was a little different. I had a heart attack, peed my pants, had my shoulder blades ripped to shreds, and got a weggie like I'd never experienced before in my life-all simultaneously. I just love the stage Lynlee is in right now, she is my best bud. We hang out all day together, and I love every minute I get to spend with her. Here we are blogging together.... She is the sweetest little baby, she has such a happy countenance and is so easy to please.
Here is the craft we will be making for craft group next month, I just had to show it off because I think it is so stinkin' cute. I can't take credit for any of it, Stacey is the master mind behind the whole project. She always comes up with such cute crafts.
