The Hike of Death....and a Plane Crash

This hike started with good intentions.....but then, it happened. My plane crashed.

So, we wanted to take Lynlee to the Timpanogas caves so that we could get out for a nice hike, and maybe let Lynlee see some snow. I was excited about it....it had been a long time since I had made the hike, and I was all for it.

Ariel however, was forced into it by the all too familiar family phrase, "Come on. Come with us. You'll love it!" So there we were. Me, Lynlee, my mom and dad, and Ariel, about to take on the Timpanogas caves....

Don't be fooled by all the smiles. It was a little rough.

The restrooms were out of you know whats.

The park ranger told us they give everyone about an hour or so to make it up....we barely made it in two.

We missed our first tour.

We survived the way back down despite hearing Lynlee's randition of "Mother knows best" from tangled...over and over and over.

We always joke about our family outings and how rough they can be. But the truth is, they always turn into great memories, and in the end it is just so much fun to be with family.

All in all, it was another great Britt Family Expedition.

Relief Society Talent Show

We had a Relief Society talent show and my friends and I went back to the glory days with a little dance/stunt/tumbling routine. I love my relief society sisters, they are such a blast, and as you will see, always up for anything.

I couldn't get the video to load.....which makes me so sad, but to watch the video go to YouTube and type "AH All Stars 4/21/11 Talent Show"

Here are a few pictures, but only the video does it justice.

We practiced every wednesday night for about two months before the performance. That's dedication.

Actually, the real dedication came when the bishop's wife (the one who does the back handspring) broke her wrist during the performance and ended up with two screws in her arm....
